Dream: I am walking down an alleyway to an area where several alleyways intersect and form a grassy median. Kevin is not physically present, but I feel him next to me. A bird flies by. It is a bird I saw in the waking dream that flew like a hawk but had coloring like a dove or a kestrel. Now it flies like a humming bird. I get to the median and it lets me hold it. It has no legs, and its nose is more like a dolphin’s. It rests back against my cupped hands. It seems unnatural for a bird, its eyes are wide. Finally I put it down, it is a little too much for me. The bird manages to roll to a position it can fly away from, despite having no legs. I am sitting on the grass now. A little brown song bird flies up to my left forearm and taps it a couple times with its beak. At first I am unsure why the bird is doing this and what it is going to do. A deer walks up on my right and lets me pet it. It shimmers as though it is not quite of the physical world. A mountain lion walks up and steps in between the deer and me. I touch my hand to the lion’s chest and then to the ground in reverence. Another large, potentially ferocious, cat comes up and I pet it. In the end there are about 5 large animals sitting peacefully around me on the grass.
Kevin is next to me, subtly but not physically. He is talking to God. He says that he holds me as I fall asleep and that I am demanding and child-like because I am tired. He tells this like it is: a fond illusion, not the story of our true selves.
I feel so happy to feel the awake part of us, to feel the peace outside the daily dream.

Dream:
Part 1: I’m showing my feathers to two people that are knowledgable about feathers. The woman in a lab coat explains to me that the feathers I found at Lake MacBride are eagle down. She compares them to other eagle down, pointing out that they are not as big as some of the other gray ones and they are not like the striped ones, but they are eagle feathers.
Part 2: I am at some kind of camp. I go into a big log cabin (meeting house) with a number of other people. I don’t really feel like I am connecting with them. I rub my tummy like Napolean as I walk in.
Now I am outside in a woodsy area with a stream. Bald eagles are fishing under water. They don’t come up for air, I see their wet feathers moving underwater. They are happy fishing. At first I see only three. I am ankle deep in their cold water, near the shore. Someone else is standing by. Then I see many more eagles, all around me (all under water). I want to touch them and connect in a physical way, but I think that the eagles wouldn’t like that particularly and it is best just to enjoy their presence. I see that the eagles are gravitating towards me, they feel that I am a safe person to be around.

Subtle Body Flight

Dream: I curl up from my body and fly, it takes a moment to realize it is just my subtle body and not my physical body flying. I think for a moment that I must be awake and pinch my thigh to test. I feel pressure on my thigh but I know that I am dreaming. I transport to a couple places. I decide I want to work on transporting to places as soon as I think of it, being more focused. I spend some time working on this.

Red Tailed Hawk

Dream: I was in a different time and place. A very sandy, dusty place, like peublos, maybe. I saw hawks that actually had lady’s head and the lady’s arms were the top of the wings and the legs the outer edges of the tail feathers. They were strong. Then I also spotted birds as we were driving (maybe in a buggy?) and I knew they were red tailed hawks.
Reminds me of the Shape Shifters book I am reading.
